Technical Features October 2026
Connectors
France G2B invoice reception
BTX can now receive government-to-business (G2B) invoices from Chorus Pro in UBL 2.1 and Factur-X formats (interface codes FEN3036A / FEN3736A) and send structured acknowledgments or rejections per the AFNOR interoperability framework to ensure end-to-end traceability for private buyer platforms (PA).
Peppol
- Users can now resolve delivery failures without support team intervention by correcting the recipient's Peppol participant ID or email address directly from the Finalize dialog to revalidate and resend the document.
- The compliance-selected document format (representationType) is now propagated end-to-end through the send pipeline to new v2 /send endpoints on Peppol, Email, and KSeF connectors to ensure the mandated format is used for delivery, while the Peppol Access Point send API now explicitly accepts representationType and participantId fields alongside the existing profileId.
- The Peppol SMP service (phoss-smp) has been upgraded to v8.4.0 with updated Kubernetes liveness (/ping) and readiness (/smp-ready) probes, while existing SMP endpoint registrations were corrected via a direct database update for service description, technical contact URL, and the RequireBusinessLevelSignature flag.
AFNOR
- AFNOR flow search and lifecycle handling improvements now enable the AFNOR v1.2 flow search API to return populated acknowledgement fields, classify credit notes with the correct flowType and flowDirection for POST /v1/flows/search discovery, and fully map received rejection reason codes to the AFNOR standard list.
- The AFNOR directory search API (v1.3) has been updated to include a new startWith operator for prefix-based filtering and to rename the sort-order property key from sortingOrder to order across SIREN, SIRET, and directory-line searches.
- The platform now validates Flow 1 documents against PPF's updated AFNOR Schematron v1.1 incorporating the latest French tax authority compliance rules and has retired the legacy BTX calculation validator to delegate those checks entirely to the standard schematron validator.
Document conversion
Enhanced credit note due date mapping
To ensure compliance with UBL 2.1 standards and French CTC validation requirements, outbound Credit Notes now map the due date (BT-9) and automatically provide a default Payment Means Code (BT-81) of "1" to prevent file rejection.
Improved error classification for Factur-X profiles
For Factur-X documents with an unsupported or missing Business Process Type (BT-24), the system now returns a specific "Unsupported Profile" error instead of a generic "Invalid PDF" error to enable more accurate status reporting for automated workflows.
Expanded data extraction for inbound CII and Factur-X
The conversion engine now extracts Item Gross Price (BT-148) and Item Price Discount (BT-147), including negative values, at the line-item level for inbound CII and Factur-X invoices.
"LISIBLE" tagging for French CTC compliance
To improve interoperability with French accounting platforms, Banqup now automatically applies the "LISIBLE" (Readable) description to the primary PDF attachment in the BT-123 business term for outbound French CTC (UBL and CII) Invoices and Credit Notes.
Document processing
Enhanced archive extraction and ZIP support
The system now supports uploading and automatically extracting ZIP archives - including Chorus Pro packages containing Factur-X PDFs and supporting documents - by extracting all valid file types while introducing smart filtering, enhanced security, low-memory streaming performance, and resilient processing.
French Identifier Enrichment
To ensure DGFiP compliance and data accuracy for French counterparties, the system now derives the SIREN by prioritizing a provided SIRET over a French VAT number and has removed the automatic derivation of VAT numbers from SIREN identifiers.
Reconciliation and Transaction radar
Asynchronous Processing for Payment Events
Document and payment events are now processed asynchronously in the background. This prevents the system timeouts that previously caused documents to miss their correct payment status.
